Our neighbor began construction on a new art studio about a year ago, and that studio has been calling Isabella's name ever since. This past week, that call was finally answered. Our neighbor, Karen, called and invited the girls to come over, and not only were they there for hours, they came home happy, and with beautiful new artwork.

Is this Karen Young we're talking about?? Is that at her HOUSE??!! My own little corner of the guest room, where my easel and art supplies sit, seems a little forlorn and sad, suddenly.
Yes, this IS Karen's new studio...a detached 3 car garage for Don below, and her studio above. It is GORGEOUS...both inside and out!
BTW, your house on Silverado Point is for sale...wanna come back to the neighborhood????
Absolutely unbelievable. It's not often that I'm envious, but you may call me green. I'm going to require actual photos of the building itself, from the outside...you can send them to my email at your convenience. :o)
Oh...forgot to mention that we heard through the grapevine that the Silverado house was for sale. I need to find the MLS on it and check out the old digs. I'm afraid that any moves we make from here on out will be southern in nature...at least in our perfect world! I'm telling you, sister, we ain't missin' that snow!
