Good-Bye, Good Friends

As quickly as Rhys, Lindsay and Michael moved into our lives, they are moving out. Literally. Moving to Omaha.
Who moves to Omaha???
Guess someone who is from there:)
And I know that their family and friends from back home are SO glad to be getting them back. Our loss is definitely Omaha's gain. But man, oh, man, are we going to MISS them!!! All I can say is to keep the pictures and the stories coming, and know that you are welcome any time!!! Oh, and that I will gladly drive to Omaha to pick up Rhys and keep her for as long as you likeY

sorry...a quick trip to the walk in clinic on a Sunday afternoon interrupted my posting. Thankfully Lisi is fine...only a staph infection that should respond well to meds. But who ever heard of PaPa the Doctor returning her needing to go to the hospital???

that would be us'ns, and we're vacating the state in 5 days!

thanks, Amy. michael and i both agree, we look fat. :-) you guys have been so great, so giving, so hospitable in the short time we've known you guys!

we'll meet in the middle! [where is that, exactly? Adair? Atlantic? hmm....]

1) do not look fat
2) are all knocked up
so you can blame Michael, but I think he can only blame Starbucks:)

Ahhhh, much better:) BUT FCAmy..about your "Who moves to Omaha" comment. I would like to say, "Who moves to Iowa?!?!?"

Oh, okay...I would live in IA too if I could get my DH to move out of sunny southern California!!! I think he would be up for it if you could do something about that darn humidity:):):)

Love,
yfc

we from Nebraska like to say that, too: just WHO moves to Iowa?! my friends are glad that my 'exile' is over. back to the 'promised land'. right. (Nebraskans hate Iowa, but also realize that they don't really have anything to one-up about - they just don't say so.)

we had to laugh, though: yesterday we went to Scheels and bought t-shirts that say "Des Moines: The Greatest City in the World". nice. we're wearing them on moving day. we'll represent!

michael can blame Starbucks.....and Oreos! by his own admission, of course...
